WHY YOU SHOULD GIVE UP NOW

Many times, you try things out, jobs, new gigs, a course, a skill, and many other things along that line. You try to wear caps and shoes and hats that just don’t fit.

Learn to face it. If you aren’t cut out for some things, you aren’t cut out for it. You might as well spend your time combing the tangled manes of a Lion.

You can’t fit into everything. Even some of your dreams are absurd and you know it. Oftentimes, our fear is finding out we aren’t good at anything at all, which wrong. You must be good at something, even it means sucking at everything, that’s a skill too.

Okay, on a serious note. We need to identify that thin line between:

A dream that we are convinced of because we know for sure that we have what we need to make it a reality; maybe people just aren’t seeing things the same way we do and we need to make them see things our way.

And,

The absolute fantasy fiction we wish we were, know we can’t because we aren’t wired that way, but still, stick to like flies on a warthog.

Your current dream should be reviewed. If you aren’t getting results, find out why. Are you doing it all wrong? Is there something you should be doing? Is a key ingredient present in other people who are on the same express you hope to match’s success that you are missing?

Or,

Are you just not cut out for it?

Don’t be afraid to test new waters. Yeah, you might even suck terribly at testing waters but so what? This is your one life and you are going to spend it chasing an absolute fantasy instead of finding out what you can totally excel at?

A wise dog once said, “The first step to not being afraid, is to pretend we are not afraid.”

And it’s true because the brain and heart can actually be fooled.

Lastly, a lion’s mane is meant to be tangled. Unless you have a spare whole new body, don’t try to comb a lion’s mane. At least, not a live one.

Till later, suckers.
